This session is designed to engage new teachers in effective mathematical teaching practices, analyze the structure of the mathematics content standards, the expectations of the Standards of Mathematical Practice, and how DPS supports the implementation of both sets of standards. Participants will deepen their understanding of what constitutes rigor in mathematics instruction.
