This is a 2-day course. Please register for both Wednesday and Thursday. K-3 literacy teachers will engage in an overview course designed to build foundational understanding of literacy standards and best practices with a focus on the shifts required by the standards, text complexity, speaking and listening, comprehension and vocabulary, and writing. Participants will be assigned to sessions specific to grade level and language of literacy instruction (English or Spanish).
